Last Friday we joined our minibus in Flintshire. We had a long drive ahead of us to Anglesey before heading to Welshpool.

I was feeling really excited, and we tried hard to produce our own entertainment on the journey. The journey was going great and we were all so excited that we couldn't wait to arrive for tea and meet up with rest of CLIC. However unfortunately we had a little 'accident' on the way. Our bus driver said he will never live it down.

When we arrived at the centre we found our rooms and had our tea which was really nice for a residential meal. Then we headed upstairs for ground rules.

We enrolled for our OCN qualifications from a selection of creative writing, photo diary or a 30-second video we also had a chance to edit our project on an Applemac. Despite setting a reasonable bed time we finally got to sleep at 3 o'clock.

On Saturday it was Tania CLIC's birthday. We got together and sang happy birthday to her and also had the pets of the centre with us. We had breakfast and got in to our OCN groups where I decided to do photo diary about a nature walk. After gathering our photos and editing, we had a great video of our walk.

We then did some activities after an amazing buffet lunch - rock climbing, zip wire and even abseiling. We also got to do artificial caving - tight squeezes and a pitch black cave! I really enjoyed it. Then to wind down after all that sweating, we did some archery.

Teatime approached where we had fish and chips and then we had the best 'CLIC's Got Talent' ever!!!! With my horrific singing no wonder it rained all Sunday on our way home. However that Saturday night we didn't go to bed as there were many mischievous antics and an all-nighter.

On Sunday we packed up and headed off to burn our projects on to disc so we could watch them on a laptop and share with our group. We even had popcorn. We did our evaluation of the weekend and received our CLIC t-shirts.

Once we have written a few more articles we get a hoody which every one is so excited to wear. Then we said our goodbyes and after a stop at McDonald's, we headed home. We were shattered!

Stonerfox added:

"It is about 9:00 o'clock am and I'm so tired. Oh well. Anyway the resi is nearing its end so we will be leaving each other soon, but hopefully we shall meet again :P All I can say about this resi is it was so amazing. I've never had so much fun, so thanks CLIC :D "
